On Monday 5th June 2017 nine fantastic supporters of Daisyhouse Housing Association completed the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon. The women walked, jogged and ran the popular 10 km route through the heart of Dublin city helping to raise thousands of euro to support women out of homelessness.
Daisyhouse Housing Association Chief Executive Officer, Michael Horgan, said, “We are very grateful to all of the women who took part in the event, it was a wet and miserable day, yet they smiled and bravely took on the challenge. They’ve worked hard fundraising for Daisyhouse over the past few weeks, and with their help, we can continue to provide expert care and secure accommodation for the women which live at Daisyhouse.”
